2024 – 2025 SCHOOL YEAR - FOOD SERVICES
The Morris-Union Jointure Commission and Maschio’s Food Services welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. The goal of our program is to provide delicious and nutritious meals to our students while offering convenience to our parents.
Working Class Families’ Anti-Hunger Act
Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the New Jersey Expanded Income Eligibility (“NJEIE”) allows families whose income is close to the federal guidelines to be eligible for free school meals.
2024-2025 School Meals & Summer EBA Eligibility Online Application
We strongly encourage all households to complete an online 2024-2025 School Meals and Summer EBT Application to determine your household eligibility, even if you believe you may not qualify.
Go to www.payschoolscentral.com OR download the PaySchools Central app to register for an account and select “Morris-Union Jointure Commission” from the district options. The Application will only take a few minutes to complete. Data is handled with strict protocols that ensure confidentiality.
Important: If you have a PaySchools account for another child that does not attend either DLC-New Providence or DLC-Warren, you’ll need to provide a 2nd e-mail address in order to create a PaySchools account for your child that attends the MUJC.
Alternatively, the School Meals Application is available below or upon request at the DLC main office. Please make sure to completely fill it out, sign, date and return to the DLC Principal.
No applications will be accepted without an adult’s signature. Please keep in mind that paper applications will take longer to process. The Business Office will send you an eligibility determination letter via e-mail within 10 school days of submission.
If you need assistance completing the School Meals Application, the MUJC will have walk-in hours on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Business Office located at 340 Central Avenue in New Providence.
2023-2024 Free Meal Benefits end on Thursday, October 17, 2024

If you do not reapply for free or reduced meals, you will be responsible to pay for all meal charges beginning Friday, October 18, 2024 until a new School Meals Application is submitted and approved. Students who are considered Direct Certified will be notified via postal mail.
