Emergency Procedures
Evacuation
Emergency evacuation procedures have been developed in the event of an emergency during the school day. The procedures are available for review in each DLC school office.
Fire Drills
The State of New Jersey requires that all schools have two fire drills every month. These drills are held at various times and under varying conditions. The students are taught to leave the building quickly, quietly, and safely.
Lockdown Drills
The state of New Jersey requires all schools practice lockdown drills. These drills are held at various times and under varying conditions. The students are taught to sit quietly in a designated area in the classroom.
