The music program sponsored by MUJC offers the opportunity for students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 to participate in large-group music experiences. Students of the participating school districts join their talents to form a single orchestra, chorus, concert band, and jazz band. | |

This combining of talents produces the outstanding student performance that has become the MUJC’s annual end-of-school-year music festival. | |

An advisory committee comprised of representatives from participating districts oversees the planning, preparation, and rehearsals for the performances. The vocal and instrumental teachers from participating schools lend their expertise in managing and conducting the bands, choruses, and orchestras. | |
