Quality Through Collaboration
Morris-Union Jointure Commission (MUJC) is a regional collaborative public school district that provides services and programs to meet the needs of its 28 constituent school districts.
MUJC provides public school programs in supportive environments for students with autism or autistic-like behavior at the three Developmental Learning Centers (DLCs) it operates in Kenilworth, New Providence and Union, NJ. Over the past several years MUJC has expanded its services and programs to meet the growing needs of its educational community.
MUJC offers a Professional Learning Series which provides varied theoretical and practical experiences to teachers, staff, and administrators . The catalog is available online.
MUJC, under the auspices of the NJ Department of Education, prepares those individuals who have not completed a traditional teacher prep program to enter the field via its Alternate Route Provisional Teacher Program.
MUJC's Transportation Services are available to school districts for field trips, vocational programs, etc. MUJC's fleet has many wheelchair accessible vehicles.
MUJC maintains a comprehensive MultiMedia Library of audio and video tapes for classroom use, staff development and parent training.
Member and non-member districts can take advantage of our Related Services program which offers expertise in areas such as adaptive physical education, behavior management, occupational therapy, etc.
